The Deputy Vice- Chancellor (Administration)of University of Jos Prof. (Mrs.)Theresa Mmadu, a friend of the Library under the leadership of the University Librarian Dr. Stephen S. Akintunde, presented a paper to the library staff titled
Communication Secrets of Workplace Leaders.
The talk started with a welcome address by the University Librarian welcoming participants and the speaker.
The seminar started with the selection of four impartial judges and then a presentation of two skits by different categories of people.
The Seminar which was very interactive spoke basically about the tenets of Communication among colleagues and in the work place, listening, coaching, and Different characters of persons we encounter in the work place.
It ended with a session of individual assignment with participants giving answers to the questions raised.

The University Librarian thanked the DVC for taking out time to come and educate us and enjoined members of the Library staff to implement all that was learn t in the talk. He finally closed the talk with a word of prayer.
